Job description
We are looking for a senior finance professional who can go beyond numbers — and bring together Finance, Tax, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Governance.
As Amzone International continues to grow across multiple businesses and entities, we are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of our Tax & Compliance function while strengthening the broader financial governance and control environment.
This is an opportunity for a Finance Controller / Senior Finance Leader / Tax & Compliance professional who understands how business decisions translate into financial, tax, legal and regulatory implications.
You will work closely with senior leadership to build a robust framework around:
Tax & Regulatory Affairs
- Own Corporate Tax, VAT and broader tax compliance across group entities
- Evaluate tax positions, exemptions, qualifying income and regulatory implications
- Partner with tax advisors and stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements
- Oversee tax reconciliations, reporting, documentation and audit readiness
Legal & Corporate Governance
- Bring a strong understanding of corporate and commercial legal matters
- Review business transactions, agreements and arrangements from a financial, tax and compliance perspective
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on contracts, regulatory matters and potential exposures
- Strengthen statutory documentation, approvals, policies and governance mechanisms
- Identify legal, financial and regulatory risks before they become business issues
Controls, Audit & Risk
- Strengthen the organisation's internal control and governance framework
- Drive audit readiness across multiple entities
- Identify control gaps, compliance risks and areas of financial exposure
- Develop SOPs, policies and processes that support scalable governance
Financial Reporting & Business Governance
- Ensure robust accounting and reporting practices aligned with IFRS
- Strengthen consolidation and reporting across multiple entities
- Develop meaningful MIS and compliance reporting for leadership
- Bring financial discipline and governance into strategic business decisions
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
We are looking for someone who has operated at a senior Finance / Tax / Compliance level and is comfortable taking ownership rather than simply executing tasks.
You should bring:
✔ CA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent qualification
✔ Strong experience across Finance, Tax, Audit or Compliance
✔ Strong understanding of Corporate Tax, VAT and regulatory frameworks
✔ Sound understanding of commercial / corporate legal matters
✔ Strong exposure to IFRS, financial reporting and internal controls
✔ Experience managing multiple entities / group structures
✔ Ability to work effectively with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and senior leadership
✔ Strong commercial judgement and risk awareness
✔ The maturity to independently identify issues, challenge decisions and recommend solutions
✔ Strong experience across Finance, Tax, Audit or Compliance

This is not a routine compliance role.
